Thank you for the continued "appropriate utilization" of quotation marks
Before going forward with this post, full credit goes to Pete for bringing the wonderful Flickr Quote Abuse photo pool to my attention.
If you love misused quotation marks and the general bungling of the English language in everyday life the way I do, no commentary should be required for the following spectacular instances of quote abuse. Beware: This is merely a small sampling; I'm not responsible should you get lost in the hilarity of the quote abuse pool for several hours. Enjoy:

"Brilliant!"
At least that particular Chinese establishment is being honest about what it's serving. Though, in that case, it should be "Chinese" Food. Because even if they don't eat deep fried kung pao pork chicken delight in China, I think it's still, you know, food.
Oh, I 'love' it, someone after my own heart. Do misused apostrophes 'shit' you too?

Their tagline is "In the Meadowlands". In quotes. Because, technically, they are on the edge (but not really IN) the Meadowlands of northern New Jersey. This made me nuts, as it's not only a complete misuse of quotes, but it's also a pretty shitty tagline.
