Arrested Development
Being a huge fan of the best comedy on network television, I was dismayed to first hear rumors of the current season's episode order getting trimmed from 22 to 18 (true) and possibly even being cancelled (not true...yet). Fortunately it comes back next Sunday after a brief hiatus, and Fox has issued this message on "Arrested's" official site:
"Dear Arrested Development Fans:
Thank you for your e-mail and your passionate support of Arrested Development. While the show has finished production for its second season, contrary to the rumors you may have heard or read on the internet, it is NOT cancelled. We at FOX love Arrested Development and we look forward to having the Bluth family back on FOX in the future – hopefully for many years. You can help make the show a bigger success by getting as many people as possible to start watching the show this Sunday and every Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
Sincerely,
Fox Broadcasting Company"
To Fox's credit, it appears they don't want to cancel the show. But despite receiving five Emmys, scores of critical accolades and even a plum post-"Simpsons" time slot, this brilliantly hilarious show is still having trouble finding an audience.
It breaks my heart to have to roll my eyes throughout each episode of the dreck that "The Simpsons" has become, and then be immobile from 30 straight minutes of laughter during "Arrested." Quite a world we live in when we have shite like "Jonny Zero" and "I didn't know she was my sister!" clusterfucking the airwaves, while Fox has to beg people to watch "Arrested."

Great Blog!
Just be thankful that Arrested Development is on Fox rather than NBC. NBC would wait until the season finale, then pull the finale...then allow the finale to air...then cut the finale in half and ship it over to Comedy Central to air on a Saturday night (like they did to my favorite show).
well fox won the sweeps ratings so they must be getting some viewership. Arrested Development is probably the best show on tv right now, and that's exactly why people aren't watching it.
