The Argument
Just thought I'd pimp myself a little bit: the incredibly talented band The Argument uses a quote from yours truly on the front page of their web site promoting their excellent second album, "Recess Serenade," my favorite album of 2004 so far.
Since I have no way of linking to the post from Pop Culture Mag, here's what I had to say about them: "It's no secret that we love power-pop, so we wanted to share our latest discovery with you: The Argument. We recently purchased The Argument's latest album, "Recess Serenade," through CD Baby, and we're floored. Rarely does an album wind its way into your head upon first listen, but these ten tracks of melodic catchiness have already infected our brains. Fans of early Phantom Planet, Rooney and OK Go should buy this album immediately. Come to think of it, that'd be one hell of a bill, huh? OK Go, Rooney and The Argument opening for Phantom Planet? Are you listening, Delsener-Sleater?"

That's actually really sweet, and it's the second time, right? Didn't phantom planet do the same thing?
If only they linked to pcm from the quote...maybe you can request them to do that.
I'd probably ask them to link to PCM if it was actually still updated, but I can't really ask for a link to a site that's effectively dead, despite some fond, fond memories and the fact that it led to massive amounts of ass for all involved parties. Didn't think you could have sex with massive amounts of groupies if you started a website, did you? Suckers!
...and Larry has officially lost touch with reality. We did almost get an intern though.
Fascinating how the beneficial effects of having a website took nearly a year to manifest themselves...and that those benefits went only to Pete!
